We are seeking a QA Engineer with knowledge in all stages of the product development process to be part of our product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality, end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives and client needs in a flexible, collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The role is on a full-time basis, based in Athens, Greece.
Job responsibilities
QA engineer’s general responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. Specifically, as a QA engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Cooperation & Planning
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test case
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Testing
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Tracking
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Monitor debugging process results
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven work experience in software development or software quality assurance
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing and continuous integration tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Self-motivated individual and an eagerness to take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Considered a plus:
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration platform.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing.
