It has been more than two years since what was probably the first distributed Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Utility in the world started operating, powered by norbloc’s Fides.

As it has now reached > 400,000 legal entities residing on its network, we have created this document to share some key findings from operating an ecosystem described so frequently on a theoretical basis but only very recently approached and assessed on a practical level.

We aim not only to inform fellow practitioners, but to even further ignite a revolution in how we approach regulatory compliance; making the life of all parties involved a little easier!
