We are now growing our QA team to enhance the testing and quality assurance of our platforms. To this direction, we are seeking a Software Test Engineer reporting to the QA Lead.

Role description
As a Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining functional test scenarios to ensure high-quality delivery of norbloc products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to validate system requirements, identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. The role requires solid QA expertise, hands-on testing experience, and strong analytical skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional test cases based on project requirements, platform design and technical specifications.
- Perform end-to-end functional testing across multiple platforms and environments.
- Collaborate with developers and project implementation team to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Document and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and feature enhancements.
- Participate in sprint planning and QA reviews with implementation team.
- Contribute to test documentation, including test plans, scenarios, and reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve functional testing methodologies and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or Software quality assurance.
- Proven experience in functional testing of web-based applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Good communication skill with fluency in English.
- Knowledge on backend testing is a bonus.
- Experience in Fintech, RegTech or enterprise SaaS and familiarity with blockchain-based platforms or distributed architectures will be considered as a plus.
